Kimberly Brown-Dobine (pictured top left) was the fabulous host for the evening and she had such great energy and put together a great group of panelist to speak about the key concepts of being an entrepreneur and following your dreams! All of their stories were extremely inspiring, especially knowing that they were able to quit their day job and focus on their passion! I truly feel that all of us were put on this earth to fulfill our purpose. Don't let making money doing something that you don't love, distract you from doing what you do love. Hustle harder, work on your dreams! Build something amazing! Don't sleep another night without working on doing what you love. Start NOW!
I heard the comparison of your dreams being similar to building a house on Saturday from two different people. I decided to just sum it up and put it in my own words because I think it is a great comparison. "Think of your major goal as a huge house or your empire and then think of your actions as a brick. You have to continue to build your empire brick, by brick, by brick. Gradually your empire will start to come together. It won't be easy, and you don't know exactly how long it will take to build, but your end result will amaze you if you do what you are suppose to do."
The event was held at the store Pink Pump located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The store was beautifully decorated! I never visited Pink Pump before so I instantly fell in love with the classy and creative decor. Not only do they sell cute shoes, but they also sell clothes as well! Next time you're in the area I would highly suggest visiting!
Overall it was a great networking event. I had a delicious drink called "Pink Pump" and then a nice glass of wine which had me feeling good! I got a chance to network with new faces and I also won a prize!
ps. You guys will find out what the prize was in one of my upcoming blog posts so stay tuned!
Thanks for reading :)
